It is the mission of Burke Street Elementary to recognize,
accept, and develop each child's capabilities to the fullest
extent by providing a positive, stable, structured atmosphere
conducive to learning.
It is our vision that every child can learn and we are obligated
to provide positive opportunities, both curricular and extra
curricular to develop individual thinking and reasoning skills.
Our curriculum should provide opportunities for positive self-growth.
We believe that the school environment should be one of a
safe and secure nature so that the atmosphere is conducive
